Christian Education at LCOR
Christians desire to be people who spend time with the Word of God in the Bible. The Bible IS God's Word to us, His gift to all people so that we might receive Christ's forgiveness and eternal life through the Gospel. To spend time in His Word is to spend time learning at the feet of the Lord.
Sunday School
Who?
For children in grades PreK 3 through Grade 8
When?
Sunday mornings at 9:20 a.m.
Where?
Younger aged children meet in Classroom 1.
Older children meet in Classroom 2.
What?
Children will learn God's Word from the Bible through activities, stories, and crafts. These stories teach the history of God's people and His plan of saving us from sin through His Son, Jesus.
Sunday Adult Bible Classes
Sunday Mornings at 9:20 a.m.
Classes meet in the Annex, the room off the sanctuary to the left through the double red doors.
All are welcome. No one is put on the spot. Volunteers are asked to read. If you want to respond to a question or ask one, feel free. There is no pressure!
Current Class: Prepared with a Reason
The Prepared with a Reason Student Book features seven lessons, each focusing on a worldview-related topic with expertise from LCMS clergy, to build confidence in God's Word. Each lesson provides historical context about the topic, dives into relevant worldly assumptions, counters these assumptions with Christian responses, and allows the student to practice for real-life situations.

Prepared with a Reason Apologetics Curriculum equips Christian high schoolers, young adults, and adults to articulate and defend their faith through the study of philosophical topics.
Wednesday Morning Bible Class
Join us for Bible study on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. throughout the year. We study individual books of the Bible as well as topical studies.
